I love to write but hate promoting. It’s not that I don’t think I have anything of value to share, it’s that I don’t have anyone to share them with. I don’t regularly use social media and Pinterest is the world’s biggest time suck.

Like you, I have handful of blogs that I’ve since given up on, but after years of studying it, I’ve finally learned how to create content that google loves.

Of course there’s a catch – you have learn SEO, be a prolific writer, and be patient. But SEO is a valuable, transferable skill, I love writing, and the time will pass anyway.

All those blogging gurus that claim you must spend 20% of your time writing and 80% of your time promoting aren’t wholly correct – it’s just a faster route to success.

Writer, blogger. Rabbit parent to one. Plant parent to many. Occasional runner, jigsaw puzzle enthusiast.
